Background Info.

At school and university I was mainly into team sports (rugby then rowing). I was also very keen on rock climbing and mountaineering. I tried orienteering at university and, after giving up rock climbing started to take it more seriously. Once I tried Mountain Marathons I got hooked, realizing that being in the mountains, running over rough terrain with a bit of navigation suited me well. I like to do the long fell races and search out multi-terrain races (the rougher the better), mixing it in with a few road races and duathlons (the Box Hill Ballbuster is a favourite because of the bias towards runners and the hills)
