Well Done

to everyone who came along and took part in our Ridgeway Run . . I know it was tough at the time but I hope you can all look back and say you had a great race . .

it's a taxing course at the best of times but the wind will have made the Ridgeway interesting, and for those of us who prefer the dry, at least the rain managed to stay away until almost everyone was finished . .

The Ridgeway Run was established in 1982, and is generally held on the second Sunday in October.

A challenging trail run of approximately 15 kilometres, over an attractive route mainly on footpaths and bridleways with stunning Chiltern views. Starting on the outskirts of Tring, the course gradually ascends into the beautiful Ashridge Forest,
past the Bridgewater Monument, takes in a stretch of the famous Ridgeway Path and before descending back along quiet paths into Tring and finishing at the Cricket Club.

  • The start is on Marshcroft Lane at 11 am. Meet first at Tring Park Cricket Club

  • Please allow at least 15 minutes to get to the start from the Cricket Club

  • Look for parking signs on Station Road to park at the Cricket Club

  • In the event of bad weather this parking may not be available, there are car parks in Tring High Street a short walk from the
    Cricket Club

  • Please do not park near the start as this causes problems with local residents

  • Male and Female changing facilities including showers available at the Cricket Club

  • Presentation of prizes at the Cricket Club from approximately 1 pm, or as soon as possible after that time

  • Refreshments at the Cricket Club Pavilion including bar & sandwiches
